RENSSELAER COUNTY, N.Y. â Alexander Flood, Andy Bulmer, and Shawntell Mills-Sanchez announced their candidacies for the Rensselaer County Legislature in District 4 recently, which encompasses the Towns of Sand Lake, Schodack, and Nassau.
All three candidates received the unanimous backing and endorsement of the Rensselaer County Democratic Committee and the Working Families Party (WFP) and submitted far more signatures than required to secure their place on the ballot this year.Â
Bulmer is a small business owner and elected councilman in Sand Lake, Flood is communications director for NYS Assemblywoman Pat Fahy, and Mills-Sanchez owns and operates her own information technology company that supports children and family services. They are campaigning for all three seats.Â
