In the Hallmark Channel movie Sand Dollar Cove, real estate developer Elli (Aly Michalka) travels to the quaint town of Sand Dollar Cove, Connecticut to acquire prime beachfront property for a new hotel. The film is based o the novel of the same title which was set in North Carolina.
