You can see emeryville is a little hazy out there with High Pressure overhead, little wind. Temperatures are quite mild from the east bay to the peninsula, upper 60s to near 70. No sea breeze as of yet. The winds will pick up. Were looking at gusts near 30 miles an hour. Look at the low 70s arriving in our east bay. Today some changes at the coast as the winds pick up and create some gusty winds. Well still be cool, just in the 60s there but climbing through the 00s to around 80 in the bay and low to mid90s return inland. Enjoy the day today if you like it warm. Everything continues to be to the north of us. The fog is going down the coast. The warming continues. The friday forecast is the warmest day for many. Near 90 is possible for inland. Santa rosa and then fairfield and antioch would probably be the usual suspects here. Temperatures are running a little bit cooler for many that were much warmer yesterday. San jose is 55 and clear. Dont know about it but neither do most consumers. If you pay the deposit for bottles and cans, youre supposed to be able to get your money back. It is part of californias 33 yearold bottle bill, but dont expect smooth sailing. Bottles and cans . Greg wright found out the hard way when the recycling kiosk in the parking lot of his Neighborhood Grocery store close last august. He is a longtime bottle and can redeemer. I dont need the money, and i dont want to give it to the sanitary department. Reporter so he called sacramento that stash and said hey, whats going on . And they got back to me and said you dont. Reporter cal recycle agency the agency that oversees recycling in the state told him he could redeem his cans right there at his lucky supermarket. But when he went in, no one in the store knew anything. Turns out retailers became the mandated recyclers of last resort last year. Unhappy customer. The 28yearold got angry over her little boys haircut. The squirmy boy had a slight scratch on his neck likely from his clippers. I saw pure evil in her eyes. I saw her change. Reporter he started kicking the door. When he went outside to get a photo of her license plate. He says she took aim at him with her prius while her two little boys were in the backseat. I saw her finger in the air flipping me off. She came through the plate glass. Reporter martin suffered a broken leg requiring surgery and deep gashes in his hands. Hes been in a lot of pain with a long recovery ahead of him but least not angry. I have truly forgiven her. I can walk up to her and hug her and say im so sorry that this happened. Reporter martin says his biggest concern is for the boys. Their mother faces taemattempte murder, hit and run and child abuse charges. He wants her to get the help she needs. So looking at it moving in at about 2 00 at san rafael and approaching napa and then moving into San Francisco shortly thereafter. Some of the heaviest rain are up 7 00. The north bay into the well see it pushing south of sa into the south bay. But along with this leading edge of rain wtye ve winds and we could see gusts of 40 to 50 Miles Per Hour and then spotty showers still lingering by this evening into tomorrow early in the morning were just going to see the spotty showers that may have the potential of producing some thunder and lightning along with some very cold temperatures and maybe e
