Morning. Hayward police say he had been shot several times. Tonight ashley placed candles near the last place her friend was seen alive. Ashley, who asked us not to show her face, says her 20yearold friend from oakland was shot and killed here early this morning. Shes known him since middle school. He was really nice. Like he had a big heart, and he was just like goofy and like caring. He just really just wanted to live his life, you know . It was messed up. Reporter ashley says he invited her to go to a party at an airbnb rental in hayward last night but she couldnt go. This home is listed as a rental on airbnbs website.
