The annual celebration of hardly strictly bluegrass is always a hit now completing itself 12 year of music in the incredible golden gate park. This is just the best park to come to. Its safe. Its wonderful and such a fun time of the year. There is every kind of music you can imagine and can Wander Around and go from one stage to another and just have fun. 81 bands and six stages and no admission. This is hardly strictly bluegrass. I love music and peace. I think it represents what is great about the bay area. Everyone is here for the music and the experience. This is why i live here. The culture out here is amazing. Its San Francisco. This is a legacy of the old warren hel ment and receive necessary funding for ten years after his death. There is a legacy that started and its cool and hes done Something Wonderful for the city and were all grateful. Hopefully we will keep this thing going on for years and years to come. Years. So i would hope that this committee would advance bruces name with recommendation that he be reappointed to the task force. He has several things in his favor in addition to meeting the requirement of being a disabled member, he is very bright with technology, and he has a full command of the sunshine ordinance. Concern, and so i would be concerned because as you probably are aware, there are a number of low income residents, who are on Treasure Island, and yes, many of them use the Public Transportation system, but, there are some who sometimes use the vehicles, and so, i would be really concerned about some level of congestion pricing on Treasure Island and i am not sure if i would be supportive of that effort. Understood, and we are certainly in touch with the island residents, and one of the things that we are going to be doing is bringing forward a discount policy for the board to consider as we did previously when we looked at congestion pricing for downtown, and we thought that it was important to capture that issue and to bring forward the recommendations around how this could be handled but the discount and exemption policy. Wd2685, with cal state contractors inc. , for reservoir and tanks improvement 20133, in the amount of 682,000; and authorize the general manager to approve future modifications to the contract for a total revised contract amount up to 9,997,900. The requested increase is due to new Water Conservation work requested for twin peaks reservoir. The work includes preparing and installing new water barriers along all submerged concrete slab joints to inhibit water leakage from the reservoir to its underdrains.
