their san francisco home pleading not guilty to federal charges. david depape charged with attempted kidnapping of a federal officer or employee, and assault of an immediate family member of a federal official. according to the federal indictment, depape told investigators he planned to hold speaker pelosi hostage and talk with her. if nancy told depape the truth, he would let her go, and if she lied, he would break her kneecaps. the speaker was not there. paul pelosi able to call 911. but when police arrived, depape allegedly striking the 82-year-old with a hammer using full force. according to the san francisco d.a. s office, depape allegedly said he was on a suicide mission and was planning to target other leaders, too. paul now recovering at home after suffering a fractured skull and other injuries. he s improving. it ll take a little while. but we ve been so comforted by the outpouring of so many prayers and good wishes. reporter: depape also facing multiple st
