Heavy, wet snow is expected in mountain areas of San Diego County Thursday, and travel could be difficult to impossible with up to 14 inches of snow and wind gusts up to 60 mph on the highest peaks.
The latest in a series of strong winter storms brought more heavy rainfall and resulting traffic headaches to the already waterlogged San Diego area, and more rain is in the forecast Wednesday.

More rain and snow is expected in the San Diego area Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. A flood advisory has been issued in the San Diego County coastline and inland areas.
