San Diego County's special election to replace County Board of Supervisor Nathan Fletcher cost more than $5 million, and that total could grow once final invoices are paid at the start of 2024.
San Diego voters filed into polling places around the county early Tuesday morning to register their choices for state elections. Many showed up to cast their votes in the brief window before their workday started, while others stopped in throughout the workday or on lunch hours.
If you’re in San Diego County’s District 4, and you want to vote in upcoming special election, you are encouraged to register to vote by Monday, July 31.
