Irans staterun press tv says a faulty Navigation System is what caused the sailors to enter into iranian waters. Us military Officials Say the crews and their boats were heading from kuwait to bahrain, when they lost contact with the us navy and drifted into iranian waters yesterday afternoon. Ships and aircraft attached to the locally based uss Harry S Truman Carrier Strike group searched the area for the boats after contact was lost. According to officials, iran picked up the nine men and one woman and turned them over to the revolutionary guard.
