A Single Family home and the church burned the home is considered a total loss. The church suffered significant damage. Both buildings fortunately were empty at the time of the fire. So no one was hurt. The cause is being investigated. Were learning of a Death Investigation at san joses Animal Care Center. Staff members say a city contractor was found dead at the facility this morning. San jose police fire and cal osha are investigating.
