ILOILO CITY, Feb. 25 (PIA) - - A newly-built quarantine facility that will further boost the preparedness and response of the island province of Guimaras against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID 19) pandemic was inaugurated February 25.
The 16-room isolation facility, which was constructed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) at the Capitol Grounds in San Miguel, Jordan town, is intended for COVID-19 patients in the island who are asymptomatic, according to the Guimaras public information and relations unit.
It has male and female doctors quarters, nurses station and every room is air-conditioned and has its own comfort room. The facility is also equipped with a generator.
