Chesterfield, NJ Magical Acres held 13 harness racing qualifiers for 2-year-olds Tuesday. Trainers Tom Cancelliere, Noel Daley, Chuck Sylvester and Carter Pinske each sent out two winners over the training center’s five-eighths-mile oval. Sheriff Tim Luce reports the arrest of two Romulus residents following an investigation into the death of a 3-year-old child.
On October 23rd, deputies and investigators responded to a residence on Ernsberger Road for the report of an unresponsive 3-year-old male. Deputies responded along with first responders from the Romulus Fire Department, North Seneca Ambulance, and South Seneca Ambulance – attempting extensive life-saving measures.
Luce says the child was ultimately transported to Geneva General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
