The swashbuckling and loquacious former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic (NDC), Samuel Koku Anyidoho, who contested the General Secretary position but lost to Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has been suspended from the party.
The announcement of his suspension, without a timeline, was contained in a statement under the signature of Johnson Asiedu, aka General Mosquito.
Mr Anyidoho, a former presidential spokesman who once declared on radio that “heads are rolling” following the infamous dum-so that occurred at the Kumasi Sports Stadium whilst Black Stars were playing a match, has been suspended based on protest letters filed against him by two party members. The petitioners are Mr. Mobarak Abdul Karim (Oti Regional Communication Officer) and Eric Adjei (Bono Regional Deputy Communication Officer.

The Bono Regional Deputy Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Eric Adjei, has called on the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the umbrella party to expel Samuel Koku Anyidoho.
The petitioner, explaining his position in a missive to the Chairman of the NEC, said the proposed expulsion was on the grounds of gross misconduct contrary to the express provisions of the constitution of the NDC, and for actions and inactions that are inimical to the progress of the party.
Mr. Adjei said the petition was grounded on many instances of ill-will speeches, accentuated by malice and calculated to subject the party to public ridicule.
