Figure out how a mother of two turned up dead. Nbc 6 reporter Michael Spears is live at the scene. Michael, who is the personn who discovered this body . According to police, it was two Young Children who alerted a Security Guard here at the flamingo south beach that their mother had been assaulted. Sure enough, when oficers got here, they found that woman dead. Police say they have a potential suspect. As of this morning at last check, no arrests have been made. Here is what we know about the investigation, again, police say theyre working a homicide case here at the south beach flamingo tower. Detectives six miles north. The c was abandoned with the baby safe inside. Canine units tried to track the suspect. The car was towed for evidence. She tried to explain why she left her daughter in the car alone. It was one or two seconds, she said. I didnt want to wake her up. Now investigators are focused on trying to find this man. Detectives showed his photo to neighbors hoping someone would recognize him. They say hes in his 20s and may live nearby. It doesnt hurt to take another look at these photos. These were taken inside of the man a few minutes before he took off with the car. If you recognize him, youre urged the could crime stoppers.
