Whatever, the change certainly won’t be as dramatic as the one that took place in the middle of the 20th century. It was in 1958 that the beautiful old Opera House was razed to make way for the new Liberty National Bank building. The new bank building for the merged Liberty and National banks was certainly different than the structure that had been one of the city’s beautiful landmarks, one that reportedly was considered by many to be the “finest structure of its kind between Cleveland and Toledo.”  A series of banks eventually followed Liberty National, with US Bank being the last prior to the financial institution’s closing of that office.

Man gets probation after scuffle with first responders Share This Samuel Brinkerhoff | Bonneville County Jail IDAHO FALLS A Utah man police found sleeping next to an ATM will spend time on probation after getting into a scuffle with first responders. Last week, Samuel Brinkerhoff, 21, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and battery on certain personnel. Magistrate Judge Kent Gauchay placed him on 18 months of supervised probation. As part of a plea agreement, a felony assault and battery on certain personnel charge was amended to a misdemeanor. A misdemeanor resisting arrested charge was also dismissed by prosecutors. Gauchay suspended 223 days of a 270-day jail sentence for Brinkerhoff. The man had already spent 43 days in the Bonneville County Jail, which he was given credit for. Officials released him to probation last week.
