The Imo State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Samuel Anyawu has described claims making round that he received the sum of N2.5billion from the PDP Governor’s Forum as campaign fund as false. Anyanwu, who made clarification on Thursday, at the state party’s Secretariat in Owerri during a press conference, said that the Governor’s Forum failed to release the fund to him because he refused to resign his position as the National Secretary of the party.
