OLED (organic light-emitting diode) laptops will likely become mainstream this year as Samsung has announced it will mass-produce the world’s first 90Hz OLED laptops in the first quarter of this year. In a statement attributed to Samsung Display Chief Executive Officer Joo Sun Choi, the company said it will initially produce very large quantities of 14-inch, 90Hz OLED displays for laptops and notebooks, beginning in March. Samsung, which is among the largest supplier of OLED displays globally, said that their 90Hz OLED display is on par with the existing 120Hz LCD screens. As of now, a 60Hz LCD display is the most common on laptops, though some gaming laptops do offer OLED variants as well which are more expensive. Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 with 13.3-inch QLED FHD touchscreen display announced
Samsung’s lineup of Galaxy laptop has been steadily growing in the last couple of years and the latest to join the family is the Galaxy Chromebook 2. This 2-in-1 laptop features a QLED FHD touchscreen display, which is a first among Chromebooks, and can be configured with up to a 10th Intel Core i3 CPU, up to 8GB of RAM and more.
The laptop has a 13.3-inch QLED display that offers a bright and vivid viewing experience for movie watchers, creators, students and more. It also supports any Universal Stylus Initiative (USI), making it ideal for quickly taking down notes or making a digital art.

Samsung just like LG, Lenovo and other laptop manufacturers has unveiled its new Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 for CES 2021. This is the successor to last year’s Galaxy Chromebook, and it comes with a huge display upgrade. It features a QLED display over an AMOLED display, which came with its predecessor. Samsung Electronics today introduced Galaxy Chromebook 2, the newest member of the Galaxy Computing family. The Galaxy Chromebook 2 comes in two colour options - Fiesta Red and Mercury Gray and will be available for a price of $549 (approx. Rs 40,300).
The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 features a 13.3-inch QLED FHD touchscreen display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Chromebook is powered by the 10th generation Intel Core i3-10110U processor. It also comes with Intel Celeron 5205U processor as well.
