about education, a substantive issue, the president will push for about $4 billion more money for education, even as he s talking about some big cuts in other areas, tightening the belt in other areas. he ll try to push for a lot more education money we re told. a lot of that education, i m told this is one area at education, he thinks can he work with republicans for example on the no child left behind law that was enacted during the bush administration, is there an opportunity to get republicans on board to cooperate with this obama administration on education? reporter: they believe there is. when you talk to senior officials here they re encouraged by the comments of a moderate republican, mike tassel from delaware, house member running for vice president biden s old senate seat and looking like maybe the favorite for that seat. he already made positive comments about how the president has reached out to them privately, behind the scenes, hasn t gotten headlines, they
