Users of Samsung Galaxy smartphones can now connect their devices to hardware wallets including the Ledger Nano S and Ledger Nano X.
Samsung Electronics, on Wednesday, announced that Samsung Galaxy smartphone users can now access and manage their crypto assets from third-party wallets on their devices. This is made possible by an update that allows users of the Samsung Blockchain Wallet, which is available on most Samsung Galaxy devices, to connect cold hardware wallets including Ledger products. Users can then manage and trade all their crypto from one location.

The update allows those who trade multiple virtual assets to import and manage them from the Samsung Blockchain Wallet.
The Wallet is compatible with the likes of Bitcoin and Ethereum and can also access DApps.

Samsung’s Blockchain Wallet is effectively a central point for those managing multiple assets across various wallets. Users can connect to, import, and manage supported wallets and currencies through Samsung’s solution. This includes “Bitcoin, Ethereum, ERC tokens, Tron (TRX), and TRC tokens,” the company announced in a release.

Little known fact is that Samsung has a native crypto wallet for its Galaxy smartphones and starting today, the so-called Samsung Blockchain Wallet will support third-party wallets and cold wallet storages so you can manage your crypto assets from one place.
Samsung s wallet can now connect to hardware wallets like Ledger Nano S and Nano X. Keep in mind, though, that Samsung s wallet support for tokens is still limited to Bitcoin, Etherium, ERC20 tokens, Tron and TRC tokens. In addition, the wallet supports decentralized apps built on blockchain to authenticate and exchange assets on various platforms.
