flats located in Narhe. The CID team has sealed the properties after taking the documents in their possession.

CID has recovered gold ornaments worth Rs 60 lakh in connection with the Samruddha Jeevan Group multi-crore chit fund scam. It has been learnt that
Mahesh Motewar, the main
accused in the case, had donated gold ornaments to Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust.
The CID investigation has further revealed that Motewar, who had duped many commoners in the chit fund scam, had bought the ornaments with the fraudulent money. The Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust cooperated fully with the police investigation, after they were ordered by the charity commissioner to hand over the ornaments to the CID.
