CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Cincinnati police say they are investigating reports from residents claiming they saw five monkeys on the loose overnight on the city’s west side.
But so far, police and an official from the Cincinnati Zoo say there are no verified sightings.
Troop of monkeys spotted swinging from cemetery trees by residents as Cincinnati police say they most likely came from private residence
Sammy Trinh captured video of the five monkeys swinging from trees in St. Joseph s Cemetery at West Eight Street & Enright Avenue in East Price Hill, Ohio
Footage appears to show creatures sitting in the tree during the dark night
Cincinnati police responded to the scene at around 10pm Wednesday and reported not seeing any monkeys
Authorities went back to the cemetery on Thursday morning, along with David Orban - director for animal science and strategy at the Cincinnati Zoo
