Denise Gray says fishing was her 18-year-old son’s passion. “He would actually skip school his senior year,” said Denise Gray, Austin’s mother. “And they would call and tell me, ‘Denise, Austin is not at school.’ And I could go to the pond by the house and say, ‘Austin, let’s go to school.’ He loved fishing.”
