A Missouri State trooper is now manslaughter in the drowning of Brandon Ellingson. This is the last photo of ellingson alive. In may of 2014. He was arrested for alleged drunken boating. Witnesses say Missouri State trooper Anthony Piercy put the wrong life jacket on ellingson while he was handcuffed in the police boat. Ellingson fell out of the boat and drowned. Trooper piercy said he was never told how to use the life vests and a jury ruled the death accidental. The investigation was also plagued with conspiracy of a cover up by the state patrol. That prompted the original special investigator to step down. Today prosecutors said they are charging piercy because theres enough evidence to prove he put ellingsons life in danger that day.
