Elimination Chamber go home edition of
SmackDown tonight (Feb. 19) was a trios match for “momentum” heading into Sunday’s Universal championship #1 contender Chamber match - and subsequent Universal championship match.
Now we have something in addition to Roman Reigns & Paul Heyman watching Kevin Owens, Daniel Bryan & Cesaro vs. King Corbin, Sami Zayn & Jey Uso.
We have Royal Rumble winner Edge!
#SmackDown will kick off tonight with @EdgeRatedR!
Edge hasn’t announced his choice for
WrestleMania 37 yet, but he’s rumored to be locked in to face the Tribal Chief the weekend of April 10 - 11. Tonight he’ll probably tell Reigns he’ll be watching him when he faces the winner of the KO/Bryan/Cesaro/Corbin/Zayn/Uso match on Feb. 21.

Last Friday, riding high on viral fame,
WWE Women’s Tag Team champions Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler, strolled to the ring to take a piece of the spotlight away from Royal Rumble winner Bianca Belair and her likely WrestleMania 37 target,
SmackDown Women’s
champ Sasha Banks.
At the time, Raw’s Naomi & Lana had already earned a shot at Baszler & Jax’s belts. Two days later, NXT’s Raquel González & Dakota Kai would win the Dusty Cup and with it a title match which we now know will happen on Mar. 3. They’re not lacking for challengers. But WWE’s clearly teasing the idea The Boss & The EST could be a third.
