In the sixth of a series of pre-season reports, HarryFromBath assesses the mood around the Championship clubs by delving into their forums. AFC Bournemouth, Brighton and Hove Albion and Reading are under the spotlight in today’s notes.
Town missed out on the chance to claim the Championship’s top spot as they were beaten 3-2 at Brighton. Sam Baldock put the Seagulls in front in the 18th minute, Daryl Murphy struck back four minutes later with his 18th of the season, but Joao Teixeira struck on 38 and in first-half injury time to make it 3-1 at the break, with Freddie Sears pulling one back with his first Town goal with 12 minutes of the game remaining.

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has joined the illustrious list of former stars in the Premier League Hall of Fame.
Gerrard enjoyed 17 years at the heart of Liverpool s midfield, racking up 120 goals and 92 assists in 504 league appearances for the Reds, joining Jamie Carragher as one of just two players to play 500 games for Liverpool in the competition.
