Al Jazeera condemns Israel's assassination of fellow photographer Samer Abu Daqqa. Al Jazeera holds Israel "fully responsible for this heinous crime" and the systematic targeting of Al Jazeera workers and their families. Samer, a father of three boys and a girl, was born in 1978 and lives in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, near Khan Yunis. He joined the island in June 2004 where he worked as a photographer and editing technician. He does not sleep 3 hours a day during his coverage of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
