The child victim was found wandering the streets of Moura, intoxicated, telling police she had been kidnapped, thrown in the boot of a car and driven for hours before being raped and left in the middle of the street. When later sober, she told police the factual version of events. Harold John White, 21, pleaded guilty in Rockhampton District Court on April 29 to two counts of indecent treatment of a child under 16.

Daniel Simon Hunter faced Mackay Supreme Court on Monday for possessing stolen property as well as 13-drug related offences. The most serious of these included trafficking, supplying and possessing dangerous drugs, two of which carry a maximum sentence of 25 years jail. On December 5, 2019 police found marijuana stashed under the driver s seat of a Holden wagon with Hunter at the wheel. Â Six months later, on June 12, police found marijuana and a plastic bottle fashioned into a bong in Hunter s bedroom.
