ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (AP) The mother of an Ellicott City woman has died after she was shot last week, and Howard County police say they expect charges filed against her daughter to be upgraded.
A news release from police said Andrea Ruth Haugh, 55, of Ellicott City, was visiting her daughter’s home in the 2900 block of Bethany Lane in Ellicott City when she was shot last Thursday. When officers arrived at the home, they found Haugh with multiple gunshot wounds. Myers was found at the scene and taken into custody, police said.
