Crews work on Rochester-area roads as snow moves in

Created: February 15, 2021 05:04 PM ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)  As the Rochester and Finger Lakes area braces for the heavy snow, road crews are preparing to be out in force. Some flights out of the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport have been canceled. Click here to see an updated list. Rochester residents can check PlowTrax to see which streets have been plowed or call 311. Conditions began deteriorating quickly after around 10:15 p.m. Monday. As the system moved in from the west, it started dumping onto areas like Brockport, first light small flakes, but very persistent, and then it picked up. The snowplows were out.
