German prestige beauty market bounces back thanks to fragrance sales

Prestige beauty sales in Germany have bounced back in the third quarter of 2021, increasing 3% compared to the previous year according to The NPD Group and VKE- Kosmetikverband. However, sales between January 2021 and the end of June 2021 remains below the 2020 levels. Sales of beauty products in the selective channel in Germany increased by 3% in the in the third quarter compared to the same period in 2020, reported market research firm NPD Group and the trade association.
