Apartment complexes lockdown lifted

By Kasun WarakapitiyaView(s): The Government yesterday lifted the lockdown on six apartment complexes in Colombo city, but most residents will still have to remain indoors as the lockdown on the areas has not been lifted. Deputy Inspector General Ajith Rohana said that though the restrictions were lifted, apartment complex residents in lockdown areas would not be able to go to the roads, use public transportation or open up their shops. Colombo’s Chief Medical Officer Dr Ruwan Wijayamuni explained that the COVID control task force had adopted a scientific method to lift the isolation of six law income residential complexes.
