Bae Sung Woo, who caused a stir over drunk driving.
According to the production team of Delayed Justice on December 22, Jung Woo Sung will be joining the drama playing the role of
Park Sam Soo. He will start filming this week, marking his first drama appearance in nearly eight years.
The production team explained they will edit Bae Sung Soo out of the drama as much as possible until the 16th episode, which has already been filmed, and Jung Woo Sung will join starting with the 17th episode.
The drama is about two men representing victims who are falsely accused. Kwon Sang Woo plays Park Tae Yong, a public defender with only a high school diploma, and Bae Sung Woo previously played the unsophisticated but talented journalist Park Sam Soo, who has a knack for writing.
On December 12, Ilgan Sports reported that Lee Jung Jae will be replacing Bae Sung Woo in the drama. In response to the news, Lee Jung Jae’s agency Artist Company stated, “We are still in discussion. Nothing has been decided yet.”
Bae Sung Woo was booked for a DUI (driving under the influence) last month, and his driver’s license has been suspended. On December 11, the drama’s production team announced his departure from the drama and shared new plans for filming and broadcast.
