The three-day New/Next Film Festival is being sponsored by WYPR as a stopgap measure while the beleaguered Maryland Film Festival attempts to regain its financial footing.
The family-friendly events will include a free “Mini Mardi Gras” celebration featuring live music by Rufus Roundtree & Da Bmore Brass Factory, and a ticketed Sun Scape Live Festival featuring two band stages.
