Bucks County legislators calling for fairer COVID vaccine distribution

Saying Bucks isn t getting its fair share of COVID vaccines, the county s Republican legislators Thursday introduced a bill that would require the state Department of Health to more fairly distribute doses based on population. The commissioners are set to vote on the agreements for the new vaccine locations at their meeting Wednesday. Last month, Bensalem Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo announced the mall would host one of the county s vaccine clinics, but county officials would not confirm the news at the time.
