A Potterne-born actor is well on his way to becoming a household name after starring in Sir Ridley Scott’s The Terror, currently showing on the BBC. The show recreates the story of Captain Sir John Franklin’s lost voyage to navigate the Northwest Passage to the Pacific, on board ships HMS Erebus and HMS Terror. Originally shown in the US, the tense drama has gripped its audience on both sides of the Atlantic. The 10-part series, executive produced by Alien director Ridley Scott, adds elements of the supernatural to create tense episodes.
