Gopal Sri Ram, the main prosecutor in Malaysia’s 1MDB trial, to lead Sam Ke Ting’s appeal against a conviction for reckless driving that killed and injured a group of teenagers riding illegal, modified bikes.
PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal has fixed June 28 for another case management on clerk Sam Ke Ting's appeal against her conviction and jail sentence for reckless driving which caused the death of eight teenagers on modified bicycles commonly known as basikal lajak.
PETALING JAYA: Eminent lawyer and retired Federal Court judge Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram will head the legal team to appeal against the conviction of clerk Sam Ke Ting, who has been sentenced to six years’ jail for reckless driving.
