NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) â One man familiar with tragedy is hoping to turn his family s heartbreak into hope for others this Christmas.
Daniel Hambrick was fatally shot by a Metro Nashville police officer two years ago. Sunday, Daniel s cousin, Sam Hambrick, held a Hambrick Strong kids toy drive at Watkins Park in honor of Daniel.
Sam said more than 1,000 donations, ranging from clothes to toys to bicycles, were collected for families in the community. He said he is amazed, and is thankful for the support.
