June 03, 2021PELHAM The Kennett track team traveled to the southernmost part of the state for the Division II State Meet on Saturday.
This year, the meet was divided into two to keep the number of participants to a minimum, with the girls competing first and the boys following, both at Pelham High School. The girls meet was held in the wind and the rain, but the boys were able to avoid the rain part of the day.

May 12, 2021NORTH CONWAY The Kennett track team welcomed Plymouth and Kingswood to Gary Millen Stadium on Tuesday, May 4 and the Eagle boys and girls both came home second on the day, with Plymouth winning for the girls and Kingswood winning for the boys.
Freshman Aida Wheat had a strong day in the sprints, winning both the 100 meters and the 200 meters. In the 100, Wheat finished in a time of 13.07 seconds, Rylie Walker was fifth in 14.6 seconds, Alexis Tuttle finished seventh in 15.34 seconds, Jessica Hill was ninth in 15.53 seconds, Kendryl Shackford was 13th in 15.92 seconds and Danielle Stewart was 15th in 22.48 seconds.
