On Saturday, outside First and Quail streets there was a candlelight memorial put in place to honor Sharf Addalim. Addalim was one of the men killed Friday. He worked at Mr. Sam Food Market. He was well-liked in the community. Lashon Turner was the other person who was killed in the other shooting on Central Avenue. On Friday, seven men were shot and one man was arrested in connection to the first shooting. Bishop Avery Comithier wants to reach the young men in the community. He wants them to know that they don t have to shoot each other s to settle their debates. He is calling for peace.
