Kinsgbury for a report of a possible suicide. Officers arrived and found Wallace Jr. deceased in his car. Upon further investigation, officials said he was killed in the backseat of his vehicle, where he often slept.

The say the victim has been identified as Sam Flores Wallace, Jr. Detectives say the 43-year-old was found in the parking lot of the apartment complex located in the 800 block of W. Kingsbury St. Officers were initially called out to the Stagecoach Apartments at around 3:40 p.m. Saturday for a suicide. However, detectives say they are now calling the incident “suspicious.” Seguin Police Chief Terry Nichols says while not many details about the case are being released, they do say that “the injuries sustained were lacerations made by a sharp instrument.”

(Seguin) Seguin police detectives are looking into a suspicious death that occurred over the weekend. On Saturday, January 23, at approximately 3:40 pm, Seguin Police and Seguin Fire/EMS responded to the 800 block W. Kingsbury, the Stagecoach Apartments, for a possible suicide. Upon arrival, officers located a 43 year-old man deceased in a vehicle in the parking lot of the apartment complex. Justice of the Peace Sheryl Sachtleben pronounced the man dead and ordered an autopsy at the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office due to the suspicious nature of the death. The deceased man has been identified as Sam Flores Wallace, Jr, 43.
