The Royal Record will be hosted by
The Australian Women’s Weekly’s editor-at-large and Royal correspondent, Juliet Rieden, who LiSTNR said had established herself as the country’s foremost authority on the Royal family.
She will be joined by former colleague Bryce Corbett, who along with his 25 years as a journalist, boasts an Australian Podcast Award for his work on
Squiz Kids.
Publicity for the podcast said it will do a deep-dive into the Royal stories of the week, as well as casting a light on the machine behind the Windsors and examining the forces at play behind every Royal headline.
Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) has created a new role for its LiSTNR Original Podcasts business unit which will be filled by radio producing stalwart Nic McClure.
McClure will become senior executive producer for LiSTNR Original Podcasts, and will be charged with developing and producing new original podcasts and overseeing news-based titles such as
Your Morning Agenda and
The Briefing.
She will also onboard new podcast producers and work with the existing LiSTNR Original Podcasts producing team.
McClure started her radio career in 1996 with SCA and has since led programs across various networks including
The Kyle & Jackie O Show, Kate, Tim & Marty, Merrick & Rosso and the
