MFAH s New Michelin-Star Restaurant Has an Opening Date The highly anticipated Le Jardinier will open in the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston s Kinder Building. We have a date for the Houston opening of anticipated Michelin Star restaurant Le Jardinier, and it s May 18. Led by culinary director Alain Verzeroli and executive pastry chef Salvatore Martone, Le Jardinier opened in summer 2019 in New York and won a Michelin Star last year. As part of The Bastion Collection—which also operates La Table in Uptown Houston—the restaurant announced a location in the Bayou City, specifically at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, in early January.

Cafe Leonelli, scheduled to open in March, and Le Jardinier, slotted for April, are situated in adjacent spaces within the Kinder Building. The $476 million museum expansion made its debut in November.
