With storms expected to bring cold and some snow into Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley, several area school districts announced they were cancelling classes today.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop late this evening across Northwest Arkansas and continue into the early overnight hours as a strong cold front sweeps into the region, according to the National Weather Service.
