Kansas City-area Scout troop camps out for those experiencing homelessness

They call this weekend s events Cold Hands, Warm Hearts.
Troop 161 is spending Friday-Sunday outside the shelter. The teens are camping out in what they call survival shelter fashion .
On Saturday, scouts from around Jackson County will be collecting items to help the Salvation Army.
