Dimapur, Oct. 17 (EMN): Training on community level participants under the JJM project for village council chairmen, VDB secretaries, and WATSAN members got underway at WDVCCA multipurpose building hall, Wokha, on Monday. The four-day training, jointly organised by PHED department of Wokha division and Water & Sanitation Support Organisation (WSSO), is being imparted by Salt Lake Institute of Engineering & Management Ltd., (SLIEM), Kolkata, a DIPR report stated. EAC Wokha, Yentinngbou, in his inaugural address lauded the PHED department for organising such programmes for the village functionaries to sensitise them about the importance of safe water and hygiene, conservation of water and to remind them about their roles and responsibilities how to maintain and operate after the completion of the project.
