200 acre Salt Fire causes evacuations in Shasta County People are being asked to evacuate due to a 200 acre fire in the Lakehead area. The Shasta-Trinity National Forest Service said the fire is more than 200 acres. The Shasta-Trinity National Forest Service s said the initial report was at 1:56 p.m. Evacuations and Road Closures Evacuations are orders for Zola Drive, Cordes Court and Solus Campground Road.  Deputies have also sent evacuation orders for Tom Head Road and Old Mill Road.
