‘The podcast spawned from a conversation we had about my career guidance counsellor in school,” stylist Adam Walsh says. “I was told I should do a four-year business degree to do fashion styling. My guidance counsellor wrote down about 14 different course codes for my CAO, but at that stage I had already been accepted to the PLC course I wanted. There was a bin right in front of his door and I threw the course codes in it. I didn’t need them.”
More and more students with intellectual disabilities are exploring their options in third level education – and are going on to find a course, and ultimat.
