Search continues for Apple Valley man missing in Death Valley National Park since May 4 Victorville Daily Press A search is ongoing for an Apple Valley man who has been missing for more than a week after taking a trip to a remote area of Desert Valley National Park. Family members said they last heard from 76-year-old Robert Wildoner on May 4. He said he was traveling to Saline Valley to repair a truck he had abandoned there last month, according to Inyo County Sheriff’s Office. Wildoner reportedly said he would return the following day. The sheriff’s office was notified May 8 that he had been reported missing.
