SALINE, MI - Just four months into her term, Saline School Board member Aramide Boatswain is resigning her seat, the district announced Monday.
Boatswain is leaving the district and “relocating out of state” according to a May 10 Saline Area Schools news release.
Boatswain was elected to the board in November as part of a shakeup that saw three incumbent board members lose their respective bids for reelection and Boatswain, Brad Gerbe and Jennifer Miller collecting victories. Boatswain unseated incumbent Paul Hynek for a six-year term on the board.
