Salinas police arrested a suspect after he threatened to kill a family. The incident took place about 2 a-m at a restaurant on North Davis Road where patrol units to a report of a threatening suspect. The suspect fled before police arrived and officers located 38-year-old Andrew Ramirez passed out in a vehicle with a loaded handgun on his lap. Ramirez was booked into the Monterey County Jail on making criminal threats, possession of a loaded gun, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance charges.
